About us
Our roots go back nearly 30 years, when Herwig Wrulich (first generation) and later Thomas Wrulich (second generation) laid the foundation for the development of unique pulsating water jet technology. From their home base in Zeltweg, Austria, they distributed systems based on this technology to customers around the world.
The company was a pioneer in developing the first impulse-based processes, enabling precise, efficient, and environmentally friendly water jetting systems. This pioneering work allowed materials to be processed gently and effectively.
In 2019, Robert joined the company as the third generation. In 2025, he founded WRUtec GmbH together with two co-founders and a strategic investor. The focus has always been on advancing pulsating water jet technology — which uses high-frequency pressure impulses to achieve significantly more sustainable processing results.

Our Technology
WRUtec redefines industrial cleaning and surface treatment through a simple physical principle: Pulsation. Instead of relying on continuous water streams, the technology generates short, high-intensity pressure impulses that unleash high forces — enabling unmatched precision, efficiency, and cleaning performance.
The company’s pulsating water jet systems can be used across a wide range of industrial applications, including industrial surface cleaning, high-pressure descaling, decoating, concrete removal, precise cooling and many others. This approach enables effective and selective treatment of surfaces while minimizing water and energy consumption.
Pulsation Spray Tools
At the core of our solution are specially developed tools that transform water into projectile-like impulses through high-frequency pulsations.
The resulting impact forces exceed those of conventional systems many times over – up to five times – enabling precise, highly effective and sustainable surface processing.

High-pressure water converter
To generate these highly dynamic water pulses, we developed our own low-maintenance high-pressure water converters.
These piston pump systems deliver reliably and with precisely controlled high-pressure water – even under highly variable operating conditions.
